Today’s Prompt:
If you had to switch your first name,
what name would you choose and why?
I love my name. First, Middle and Last 😉 I wouldn’t change a thing.
My Aunt (who is also my Godmother) named me. She picked my first name because it was popular at the time of my birth and because she liked it’s meaning. She gave me my middle after her own. I am very proud to be named by her because she is an amazingly intelligent, savvy, sassy and fashion forward woman who has never let anyone take her for less that what she is. She is also my role model in many ways because we have very similar personalities. I tend to ask myself what she would do in a lot of situations I find myself in when I can’t find my own footing.
Now…as for my last we all know I’m married so I love that God chose that one for me. He sent me the right man at the right time and with the right personality to fit me perfectly. God also prepared me to be the right wife for him. So, I love my last name as well.
I am proud that my name is mine and of the woman who gave it to me.
